Solvique™ Return & Refund Policy (South Africa)

1. Overview

At Solvique™, we stand behind the quality of our products and your satisfaction. This policy is designed to comply with South African consumer laws while ensuring a fair and transparent experience for both you and us.


2. Your Rights Under South African Law

Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

  • All products come with an implied 6-month warranty of quality
  • Products must be:
    • Of good quality
    • Free from defects
    • Suitable for their intended purpose

If your product does not meet these standards, you are legally entitled to a:

  • Repair,
  • Replacement, or
  • Full refund (at your choice) within 6 months

3. Returns for Defective or Faulty Products

You may return your Solvique™ lint remover if:

  • It is defective, damaged, or not working as intended
  • It does not match the product description
  • It is not suitable for its intended purpose

Conditions:

  • Must be reported within 6 months of delivery
  • Must include proof of purchase
  • We will cover return shipping costs

4. Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)

In accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act:

  • You may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving it, without reason
  • The product must be:
    • Unused
    • In original packaging

Important:

  • Return shipping is at your cost
  • A reasonable handling fee may apply

5. Returns for Change of Mind

South African law does not require businesses to accept returns for change of mind

However, Solvique™ may (at its discretion) allow:

  • Exchanges within 7 days of delivery
  • Product must be:
    • Unused
    • In original condition and packaging

Important:

  • Return shipping is customer’s responsibility
  • Refunds are not guaranteed for non-defective items

6. Non-Returnable Items

We reserve the right to refuse returns if:

  • The product has been:
    • Used excessively
    • Damaged by misuse
    • Altered or tampered with
  • Hygiene or safety concerns apply (where relevant)

7. Refund Process

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days
  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method

8. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  2. Include:
    • Order number
    • Proof of purchase
    • Reason for return
    • Photos (if defective)

We will guide you through the return steps.


9. Limitation of Liability (Important Protection Clause)

  • Solvique™ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Liability is limited to the value of the product purchased
  • Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the CPA
